The Orange County Business Journal debuted a remodeled Web page last week with breaking daily news and stories from our print edition in a stylish, updated format.
The new version of www.ocbj.com features breaking news updated throughout the day, digital versions of stories from our weekly paper for subscribers and stories gathered by industry topic.
The biggest change is the look of the site, which incorporates a modern design similar to other media sites.
At the center of the home page is breaking news updated daily by the Business Journal’s editors and reporters.
Alongside breaking news are stories from our weekly print edition for subscribers.
There also are links to select national news stories, videos and a rotating poll on topics of interest to Orange County businesspeople.
Beyond the home page are a series of industry sections that collect daily breaking news and print stories by category, including real estate, healthcare, technology and apparel.
The industry sections, found just below the Orange County Business Journal masthead on the home page, provide an easy way to get to all the industry-specific news that’s important to you.
The Business Journal’s weekly lists also are available to subscribers or to others for purchase.
There also are links to the sites of our sister publications, the Los Angeles Business Journal, San Diego Business Journal and San Fernando Valley Business Journal.
Beyond news, the site has features that allow you to sign up for daily e-mails of all the day’s news or by industry. There also are sections to manage subscriptions, learn about advertising and find out details about the Business Journal’s annual events for women in business, entrepreneurs and others.
Those who register on the site can set up a profile for themselves and keep track of their favorite types of stories and network with others on the site.
We hope you find our redesigned site even more useful. If you have questions about the editorial content of the site, contact Research Director Emily Weisburg at weisburg@ocbj.com.
Questions about subscriptions and subscriber access can be directed to Abby Madain at madain@ocbj.com or Kelly Brown at brown@ocbj.com.
