Works Shot on Red Nab Oscar Wins

A Red 8k Helium camera with a monochrome sensor was used to shoot 'Mank'

Two films shot on Red Digital Cinema Camera LLC cameras took home Oscar wins at the 93rd Academy Awards on Sunday.

The David Fincher movie “Mank,” which was shot on the Foothill Ranch camera company’s Helium 8K, won in the categories of best cinematography and production design. 

“My Octopus Teacher,” shot on Red’s Epic Dragon, received the win in the documentary feature category.
