L Squared Capital Partners said today it bought Functional Devices Inc., a provider of field devices for building automation and emergency lighting systems. Financial details were not released.
L Squared said it is partnering with Functional Devices’ management to continue the company’s organic growth and accelerate its acquisition strategy.
The Newport Beach-based private equity firm said it is actively pursuing additional acquisitions in so-called peripheral components for building automation and controls.
