Fullerton-based Professional Plastics Inc. has opened a distribution center in Taiwan, its second in Asia.
The company supplies engineering materials, such as plastic sheets, rods, plexiglass and accessories, for the industrial market. It has annual sales of more than $100 million, according to the company, and employs about 230 workers companywide.
The company also counts a distribution center in Singapore among its 17overall. Professional Plastics has other U.S. locations, including in San Jose, Denver and Houston.
The new warehouse will keep an inventory of engineering plastics that are primarily used by customers in the semiconductor and flat panel display industries.
