Costa Mesa-based industrial lubricant company ProOne Inc. plans to move to Houston next year.
The company develops lubricants for manufacturing machines, oil- and gas-drilling, transportation fleets and mining.
ProOne recently signed a distribution deal with Houston-based National Oilwell Varco Inc., which supplies various products to the industry and has about $15 billion in annual revenue.
ProOne plans to open a Houston sales office early next year with about six employees, and follow with the shift of its drilling division.
The privately held company doesn’t make its annual revenue figures available, but has been called a fast-growing company by the Houston Business Journal.
