Irvine-based chipmaker Mobix Labs Inc., which focuses on next-generation 5G wireless communications, said today it had agreed to acquire EMI Solutions, a manufacturer of electromagnetic interference filtering products for military and aerospace applications.
Terms of the transaction, which is expected to close in the last three months of this year, were not disclosed. EMI Solutions is also based in Irvine.
“EMI Solutions brings yet another level of product excellence to Mobix Labs’ growing portfolio of wireless offerings currently sampling and under development,” said Fabian Battaglia, CEO of Mobix Labs in a statement issued today.
