Orange-based Boot Barn Holding Corp., a western shoe and clothing retailer, has acquired 14 stores in Wyoming and Nevada.
Boot Barn bought the stores in a bankruptcy liquidation sale from Dallas-based BTWW Retail LP, which runs some 78 Boot Town, Western Warehouse Corrall West, Seargent’s, Job Site and Work Wear Depot Stores.
BTWW filed for bankruptcy protection on Nov. 3.
Some of the acquired stores are set to continue operating under the Corrall West name but eventually will be renamed Boot Barns, according to the company.
The deal is the latest between BTWW and Boot Barn, which was bought a year ago by Newport Beach-based private equity firm Marwit Capital.
Boot Barn bought 22 stores from BTWW in October. It bought nine in July.
Boot Barn is now one of the largest sellers of western shoes and clothes in the U.S. with 81 stores in California, Arizona, Wyoming, New Mexico and Nevada.
The company also sells products through its Web site bootbarn.com
