Robert Hayden III was elected as president of the board of trustees for the Laguna Art Museum. Hayden currently is the chief financial officer for Industrial Metal Finishing Inc. in Orange.
EDUCATION
California State University, Fullerton, hired Michele Cesca as senior director of development of the Mihaylo College of Business and Economics. Cesca previously served as national executive director of the Assistance League of America.
Jocelyn Groot was promoted to dean of military and contract education at Coastline Community College in Fountain Valley. The position is new to the college and combines the contract education and military program departments.
ENGINEERING
Irvine-based Southland Industries Inc. added Peter Pobjoy to its board. Pobjoy has been with Southland as chief of design since 1995. During his time with the company, he has overseen the conceptual design of a number of projects, including hospitals, industrial buildings, hotels and casinos.
FINANCE
Paul Kacik joined McGladrey Capital Markets LLC in Costa Mesa as managing director of the investment bank’s healthcare practice. Prior to joining McGladrey, he was senior vice president and head of healthcare investment banking for Barrington Associates Investment Bankers, a division of Wells Fargo & Co.

Maria Morris was named city clerk for the city of San Juan Capistrano. Morris, who has served as deputy city clerk since March 2006, takes over for Meg Monahan, who retired.
HOTELS
Timothy Rutland joined Newport Beach’s Balboa Bay Club & Resort as executive director of sales and marketing. Rutland has more than 25 years of experience in the luxury hospitality and travel industry, 19 of which he spent with Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co.
LAW
Irvine-based Prodigy Law Group added Paul Price as an associate. Price previously worked as a lawyer for the Law Offices of Ollie P. Manago in Los Angeles and specialized in foreclosure cases. The Prodigy Law Group focuses on legal issues related to the recession, including foreclosures, abusive debt collection and bankruptcy.
NONPROFIT
Costa Mesa-based Boys Hope Girls Hope of Southern California appointed Mia Moawad as development director. The nonprofit helps poor students by providing housing and financial support through college.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County hired Kathleen Carmichael, Anabel Mejia and Hilda Peralta as school site coordinators.
Moms Orange County added Eric Walsh, Carol Suchy and James Owens to its board. Walsh currently is the interim medical director for correctional medical services with the County of Orange Health Care Agency. Suchy is the manager of outpatient perinatal services at St. Joseph Hospital in Orange. Owens is an associate vice president and branch manager at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC in Santa Ana.

Laura Robinson joined Costa Mesa-based ArtsPR as account manager. Prior to joining ArtsPR, Robinson was a communications assistant and intern at the Laguna Playhouse.

Newport Beach-based GreenJobInterview .com hired Theo Rokos as chief executive. Rokos previously was a senior vice president at the Royal Bank of Scotland Group PLC. He will oversee daily operations of the company’s sales and product management divisions.
