Mark Garrity was hired as a director and landscape architect for FORMA, Irvine. Previously, Garrity managed the office in Bangkok, Thailand where he completed large-scale resort and golf course projects.

Leckie Rives was named senior vice president and chief financial officer of Virtual CEO Inc., San Juan Capistrano. Most recently, Rives helped found a $75 million venture-backed startup called Perigon Medical Distribution Corp. and was with United Dominion Industries for 18 years.

Linscott, Law & Greenspan promoted Keil D. Maberry to senior transportation engineer. Maberry, formerly a traffic engineer with the city of Pasadena, has been with the firm since 1997 and has worked as a contract traffic engineer for the city of Irvine.

Golden State Foods announced three promotions: Dick Gochnauer, to vice chairman; Frank Listi, to executive vice president; and Scott Thomas, to group vice president of distribution.

Dean Bierbower was named executive director of the Community Counseling Center of San Juan Capistrano. Bierbower will be responsible for capital budget and personal management of the center’s three residential substance abuse treatment houses.

Will Robinson was appointed chief technology officer at Irvine-based Zapways.com. Prior to joining the company, Robinson was manager of product and research development at Gigatron Software Corp.
