Former Irvine Co. exec William H. McFarland has been named to the board of directors of Phoenix-based Opus West Corp., a unit of the Opus Group of Companies.
Prior to forming his own development and investment company, McFarland was executive VP and a director of the Irvine Co. and CEO and president of its Irvine Community Development Co. unit. He also is a past president and CEO of the Irvine Apartment Communities unit of the Irvine Co.
McFarland also is on the boards of e-dn.com Inc. and William Lyon Homes and is a founding member of the Tech Coast Angels venture-capital group.
