Susan Daley was promoted to area president and branch manager of Arthur J. Gallagher’s Irvine office. She succeeds Cub Parker, who left the company for personal reasons. Daley will oversee 28 employees who specialize in the commercial sale of insurance.
Daley said she hopes to see the branch triple in size in the next three years. Even though Arthur J. Gallagher is one of the largest insurance brokers, its “influence in Orange County is not that strong,” according to Daley.
“We hope to build a stronger presence for Arthur J. Gallagher in Orange County that will match the LA County offices,” Daley said.
A seasoned player in the insurance business, Daley was previously a commercial team leader for Arthur J. Gallagher’s Woodland Hills office, where she reported to branch and Southwest regional manager, Jim McFarlane.
Daley began her career at Camden Insurance Co., which merged with Arthur J. Gallagher in 1991. She is a graduate of UC Santa Barbara with a degree in history. Daley recently moved to Dana Point from Westlake Village. She is married with two boys, 10 and 7.
