Aliso Viejo-based OCTANe’s LaunchPad accelerator raised $307 million through the first six months of 2019.
Most funding came from outside OC, an indicator of LaunchPad’s reach as well as a “missed opportunity” for local startup efforts, according to OCTANe CEO Bill Carpou.
OCTANe is a medical and technology accelerator; its LaunchPad program is a Small Business Development Center of the U.S. Small Business Administration.
