The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond increased 3.2% to 0.876%.
Oil climbed 2.3% to $37.66 a barrel.
The price of gold ticked up 1% to $1,911 an ounce.
HEALTHCARE
Irvine-based Axonics Modulation Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: AXNX) rose 8% to $49.77 a share with a nearly $2 billion market cap. Axonics is expected to report third-quarter earnings on Wednesday.
SERVICES
Santa Ana-based collectibles authenticator Collectors Universe Inc. (Nasdaq: CLCT) climbed 19% to $68.98 per share for a market cap of $620 million following the company’s third-quarter earnings on Monday.
“We achieved another quarter of record performance with revenue increasing 52% both sequentially and year-over-year to $30.8 million, primarily driven by significant growth in our PSA division for trading cards, autographs and sports memorabilia,” Collectors Universe Chief Executive Joseph Orlando told analysts.
