Kaiser Permanente will open its new $461 million hospital on La Palma Avenue in Anaheim on Sept. 12.
Kaiser’s Anaheim hospital has 400,000 square feet of space and 262 beds. It’s the focal point of a medical campus that will feature two office buildings, a support facility and a parking structure.
The Oakland-based organization said that it will begin transporting patients from its current Anaheim hospital on Lakeview Avenue to the La Palma location early that morning.
Kaiser also operates Orange County’s largest health maintenance organization with 433,000 members. It opened a hospital in 2008 on Sand Canyon Avenue and Alton Parkway in Irvine.
