InstaMed Inc., which has offices in Newport Beach and Philadelphia, said that it raised money in an internal round of funding.
InstaMed processes payments for healthcare services through a network that connects providers, insurers and patients.
The company said in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing that it has so far raised about $2.4 million of a planned $3.5 million offering.
InstaMed was established in 2005 and is privately held; it does not disclose its sales or earnings.
