Clinic Gets $2.5M From Catholic Bishops

The non-profit Birth Choice Health Clinics in Aliso Viejo has received $2.5 million from Catholic Campaign for Human Development, a national anti-poverty program of the Washington, D.C.-based U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.

The grant is earmarked to support expansion of Birth Choice’s full-service licensed medical clinics; provide assistance for its “marginalized” clients; and create a social media program that “promotes strong families, a healthy youth population and the value of all human life.”

Birth Choice was founded in 1981 and now has community healthcare clinics in Mission Viejo, Orange, Santa Ana and Long Beach. It plans to expand to Placentia, Costa Mesa and Los Alamitos.
