Chad Lefteris Selected to Join AHA Regional Board

To advise on national health policy development

UCI Health Chief Executive and President Chad Lefteris has been appointed to the American Hospital Association (AHA) Regional Board for a two-year term through Dec. 31, 2027.

“It is an honor to represent California on the AHA board,” Lefteris said in a statement. “Working with colleagues across the West on important health policy issues reflects the longstanding UCI Health commitment to improving the health of our communities.”

AHA is a not-for-profit organization representing nearly 5,000 hospitals, health systems and networks, as well as 43,000 members.

Lefteris will serve as a California state delegate to Regional Policy Board 9, which includes AHA member hospitals and health systems leaders from Alaska, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, Washington state and the Pacific islands of American Samoa, Guam and the Northern Marianas.

In his role, Lefteris will help advise on national health policy development and patient and community advocacy.
