Irvine hot dog chain Wienerschnitzel notched gains in the first quarter, amid a push for restaurant growth.
The company, owned by Irvine-based Galardi Group Inc., currently counts more than 330 restaurants.
Wienerschnitzel reported same-store sales increased 16.8% in 2020, with a double-digit increase in the first quarter of this year.
The company more recently signed a 20-unit deal in Louisiana, seven-unit deal in Houston and three-unit deal in Boise, Idaho. It’s now looking to further ramp growth in the Midwest, with the help of incentive plan for prospective franchisees.
The update follows news last month Wienershitzel is also looking for international franchise partners.
