Santa Ana-based Crafty Pizza Inc. plans to open 12 PizzaRev locations in Orange County.
Crafty is the Orange County franchisee of Los Angeles-based PizzaRev, which is expanding in California and six other states, according to its website.
The “craft-your-own” pizza segment is growing locally.
The first OC PizzaRev will be in Santa Ana.

Pasadena-based Blaze Pizza LLC plans at least five more locations here to join its first at UCI. The others will be in Mission Viejo, Laguna Niguel, Santa Ana, Brea and Newport Beach.
The craft-your-own concept has been called “Chipotle for pizzas” because customers move down a line of toppings, sauces and other items building pizzas which are then cooked and served at the end of the line.
