There are more than 4,500 restaurants in Orange County, and they collectively employ about 93,000 people. 24% of all OC restaurants have one to four employees. About 25% employ 20 to 49 people. Three have 500 or more workers.
Anaheim has more restaurants than any OC city, with 453. Santa Ana is No. 2, with 373. Irvine takes the No. 3 spot, with 347 (see related Special Report: Fifi’s Best, page 21).
