Mountain Mike’s Pizza has promoted Vice President of Operations Steven Adyani to chief operations officer.
Adyani initially joined the Irvine-based pizza chain in 2020 after holding operational roles at Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, The Cheesecake Factory and restaurants run by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.
“Steven constantly ensures operational excellence and fosters a team culture that prioritizes collaboration and innovation, and as we continue expanding into new markets, his leadership will be critical in maintaining the unmatched quality, consistency and guest experience that define Mountain Mike’s,” Chief Executive Jim Metevier said in a statement.
Adyani will continue to oversee training programs and to support franchise partners by “leveraging technology and AI to enhance restaurant efficiencies and reduce operational costs,” according to the chain.
“My focus is on strengthening our operational foundation to ensure all franchisees have the tools and support they need to flourish,” Adyani added.
Mountain Mike’s counts over 300 restaurants across nine states and is pushing to reach 400. The pizza chain reports annual system sales of almost $300 million.
