Irvine-based restaurant chain and franchisor LYFE Kitchen received a minority investment from Carlisle Corp. and will move to that company’s Memphis, Tenn. headquarters, according to reports.
LYFE—Love Your Food Everyday—has 10 restaurants and began laying plans to franchise in 2012.
Carlisle runs 77 Wendy’s fast food franchises in the Southeast.
LYFE is described as a “healthy fast casual” chain and was founded by former McDonald’s Corp. President Mike Roberts. It has three restaurants each in California and Texas, two in Illinois, and one each in Colorado and Nevada.
