In-N-Out Burger Opens Tennessee Restaurants This Week

Chain debuts two stores Dec. 10, and one on Dec. 12; Expansion marks brand's entry into a 10th state

Irvine-based In-N-Out Burger is opening its first three restaurants in Tennessee this week — nearly three years after first announcing its entry into the state.

Two locations are opening in Lebanon and Antioch on Wednesday, while a third fast-food restaurant is opening Friday in Murfreesboro, the company announced Monday morning.

Each restaurant will have one drive-thru lane, indoor seating for 74 guests, and a covered patio with outdoor seating for about 30 guests, the company said.

The move to Tennessee, where In-N-Out plans to open its “Eastern Territory” office in Franklin near Nashville, marks the iconic brand’s entry into its 10th state. The Southern California institution, founded in 1948, has more than 425 locations in California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Colorado, Idaho, and Washington state.

Earlier this year, the fast-food institution announced plans to relocate its Irvine headquarters to its original home base in Baldwin Park. The reorganization will occur by 2029.
