Newport Beach-based Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. (NYSE: CMG)said it’s hoping to fill some 15,000 positions at its restaurants during a hiring event Thursday as the company sees opening as many as 200 locations in the future.
The hiring event, the first national one held this year for Chipotle, is scheduled for Thursday and is being called “Coast to Coast Career Day.”
The company’s set up an online site where applicants can register for an interview.
Chipotle shares were up about 1% in midday trading Monday to$1,415.30 for a market cap of $39.6 billion.
The company counts more than 94,000 workers and over 2,700 restaurants.
