Newport Beach restaurant operator Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. (NYSE: CMG) has wrapped up its search for new board members, saying Tuesday it added two directors, including a former Bed Bath & Beyond CEO.
The additions follow CEO Brian Niccol’s appointment to chairman of the board in March, along with the departure of three directors.
The additions are Mary Winston and Gregg Engles, bringing the board to nine directors.
Winston runs the consulting firm WinsCo Enterprises Inc. as founder and president. She served as interim Bed Bath & Beyond CEO last year and from 2012 to 2015 was executive vice president and CFO at Family Dollar Stores.
Engles launched investment firm Capitol Peak Partners, where he is managing director and previously served as board chair and CEO of consumer packaged goods and beverage maker and distributor The WhiteWave Foods Company.
Shares of Chipotle were trading about flat in midday trading Tuesday to $1,160.73 for a market capitalization of $32.4 billion.
