El Pollo Loco Inc. (Nasdaq: LOCO) said it named two directors to its board that will bring marketing and IT expertise.
Deborah Gonzalez, senior vice president of global marketing and communications for Concentrix Corp., was named independent director.Â
Gonzalez is also the former chief brand and marketing officer for Massage Envy Franchising and also previously served as vice president of merchandising marketing for PetSmart Inc.
Nancy Faginas-Cody was also appointed to the El Pollo Loco board as an independent director. She is the former senior vice president of information technology enterprise business systems at the Walt Disney Co.
El Pollo Loco, with 480 restaurants, was trading up 1.7% to $13.42 in midday trading Tuesday. The restaurant chain had a recent market cap of $490.6 million.
