Artificial intelligence software maker Veritone Inc. in Costa Mesa will help Getty Images simplify and streamline searches of its content. The companies say the deal will speed content discovery and project workflow.
Material to search, view and download will be on both Veritone’s Digital Media Hub and Getty Images’ main site via one interface.
Veritone’s hub is a web portal companies use to offer their clients global access to content and a Getty executive said customers of both could use it, meaning the deal could bring more business to both: Veritone clients that are new to Getty and buyers of Getty images getting access to more media on the hub.
Veritone (Nasdaq: VERI) shares recently traded about 3% higher to a $226 million market cap.
