<LEASE

British defense and aerospace company BAE Systems PLC renewed a lease for 118,500 square feet of industrial space at 1195 and 1095 Columbia St. in Brea. The company considered moving to Anaheim or Chino, but renewed in Brea after getting $500,000 for upgrades to the buildings from landlord Colyear Development Corp. of El Monte. The five-year lease starts in January and is valued at $3.2 million. The two buildings are used for administrative purposes and to assemble military parts for helicopters and Humvee vehicles. BAE plans to consolidate its regional administrative operations into one building. Karl Heim of CresaPartners LLC represented BAE. Jenni Suvari of Colyear Development represented her company.
