Irvine-based Opus Bank has launched a small-business banking division.
The unit will focus on businesses with revenues up to $5 million and provide various financing products, including term loans, revolving lines of credit and merchant card services.
Miguel Serricchio, president of treasury management and payment solutions, will be heading the unit.
Serricchio joined Opus in 2012.
Opus is one of the largest banks based in Orange County. It had about $4 billion in assets as of the end of the first quarter, including $3.2 billion in loans. It had about $3 billion in deposits at the time.
The bank has 60 offices in California, Washington state and Arizona.
