Mitsubishi Motors North America Inc. in Cypress appointed Dan Booth president of its financing arm, Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America Inc.
He replaced Jeff Young, who “left the company to pursue other business opportunities.”
Booth, 49, started at Mitsubishi Motors North America in 1988 as a staff accountant. His most recent role was executive vice president and chief financial officer for Mitsubishi’s sales and manufacturing division, which he’d held since 2002. He also serves on the boards of directors for Mitsubishi Motors Credit and Mitsubishi Motors North America.
“Dan is a tremendous asset to the company and he’s the right person to be taking over the leadership position at [Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America] because of his knowledge of its operation and his membership on their Board of Directors,” Mitsubishi Executive Vice President Don Swearingen said in a statement. “We thank Jeff Young for his ten plus years of service and we wish him well in his new endeavors.”
