Irvine-based Digital Map Products, a provider of cloud-based spatial technology, has secured more than $36 million in funding, the company said today.
The lead backer was Boston-based Silversmith Capital Partners.
Digital Map Products provides location technology and data for businesses, government organizations and consumers, including on-line real estate portals, multiple listing services and local, state and federal government agencies.
The founders are Jim Skurzynski and Geoff Wade. The company also raised about $4 million in two Series C rounds last year, according to CrunchBase.
Todd MacLean, Managing Partner of Silversmith and Marc Munfa, a principal at Silversmith, have joined Digital Map Product’s board of directors.
