KSJG Acquired by WithumSmith+Brown

Irvine-based KSJG CPA LLP was acquired by WithumSmith+Brown PC, effective Jan. 1.

Withum, a regional CPA based in Princeton, N.J., said the acquisition expands its presence in the western U.S.

Withum currently has 14 offices, 1,100 employees and annual revenue of $224 million, ranking in the top 25 accounting firms in the country.

KSJG will keep at its Irvine location eight partners and about 55 other workers, who will join the Withum roster. The Business Journal ranked KSJG the 20th largest accounting firm in the county by employees.

“The resources Withum’s nationally-recognized team provides will bring a new breadth of services to KSJG clients, including technology and advisory services such as digital workplace solutions and cyber and information security services, as well as robust tax and international services,” KSJG Managing Partner Larry Gregson said in a statement.
