Irvine-based Ingram Micro Inc. plans to buy the Central and Eastern European operations of Moscow-based RRC Group, a distributor of networking and telecommunications equipment.
Ingram over the last 18 months has bought companies or operations in more than a dozen countries in Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.
This acquisition adds logistics and technical and marketing support for customers in Poland, Hungary, Serbia, Romania, Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovenia, Macedonia and Albania.
Terms weren’t disclosed but the acquisition is expected to add $250 million in revenue to Ingram this year.
Ingram has a revenue of about $46 billion annually and traded recently at a $4.3 billion market cap.
