OM Restaurant Management LLC in Santa Ana filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Friday, Oct. 9.
The company operates Original Mike’s restaurant, whose managing partner is developer Michael Harrah.
Harrah’s Caribou Industries is behind the long-planned One Broadway project, a 37-story tower to be built in downtown Santa Ana.
He also owns the five-story headquarters building of the Orange County Register, which he bought in September 2014 for $27 million.
OM Restaurant Management listed assets of $50,000 to $100,000 and liabilities of $100,000 to $500,000 in the filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California in Santa Ana.
Creditors listed include food suppliers U.S. Foods and Young’s Market Co., and beer distributor Harbor Distributing LLC, all in Los Angeles, as well as produce and bakery suppliers in Santa Ana.
