Brea-based CoolSys, a provider of refrigeration and HVAC services companies nationwide, said it has acquired C.E. Holt Refrigeration, Inc. of Charlotte, North Carolina.
The acquisition, CoolSys’ fourth in 2020, adds 100 employees to its market presence in North and South Carolina, Virginia and Georgia.
“This strategic acquisition builds density in the Southeast market and continues our aggressive growth strategy with the goal of becoming a national service provider,” CoolSys CEO Adam Coffey said.
The company, which was begun in 1961 by C.E. and Helen Holt, serves leading grocery retailers in the Southeast.
