Irvine-based Citadel CFO said it’s merging with Los Angeles-based Conexus Talent Acquisitions to create a new executive search firm.
The new firm will take on the name Conexus LLC and have about 25 employees.
“We see a huge opportunity – there’s an enormous people who haven’t been through a recession who are leaving the field,” Citadel partner Mike Kelly said. “From a macro perspective, there’s an enormous shortage of accounting people at executive level. Companies are desperate to find CPAs.”
Citadel CFO has been known for offering just-in-time interim and interim-to-hire consulting solutions in the finance and accounting disciplines.
