Anaheim-based lighting products maker Intense Lighting LLC has been acquired by Leviton Manufacturing Co., a Melville, N.Y.-based manufacturer of electrical wiring equipment.
Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
Leviton said Intense Lighting will operate as a stand-alone business unit and keep its operations in Anaheim.
Intense Lighting President Kenny Eidsvold will continue managing the unit and report to Leviton Chief Operating Officer Daryoush Larizadeh, Leviton said.
Leviton is among the largest wiring device makers in the U.S. and has more than 6,500 employees worldwide.
Intense Lighting was founded in 2001 and provides LED lighting for commercial, retail and hospitality markets, among others. Financial details of the company weren’t available.
