Newport Beach-based Alliant Insurance Services Inc. has named Ilene Anders as chief financial officer.
Anders previously served as the company’s chief information officer. The company said she will retain her CIO post until it names a permanent successor.
She spent several years in finance and consulting before joining Alliant in 2004 as vice president and director of financial planning and analysis. She became CIO in 2011.
Anders succeeds Greg Zimmer, who has held the finance chief and president roles. The change “will now enable Zimmer to focus even more attention on the overall leadership and strategic growth initiatives of the company in his role as president,” the company said.
Alliant is the biggest insurance brokerage firm in Orange County and among the largest in the U.S.
