San Clemente-based Vertiflex Inc. raised $6 million in funding, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Vertiflex makes less-invasive medical devices for treating spinal diseases.
The privately held company didn’t disclose its latest investors or its plans for the funding proceeds in its SEC filing.
Prior investors have included Aberdare Ventures and Alta Partners, both based in San Francisco; and Stamford, Conn.-based Thomas, McNerney & Partners.
