$260M Sought for Intersect

The Intersect office complex in Irvine, about two miles from John Wayne Airport, is for sale at $260 million.

Newport Beach-based PIMCO and Houston-based Hines bought the 452,000-square-foot layout in 2015 for $121.5 million, and put $27 million into renovations.

Changes included work on the courtyard, lobbies and infrastructure, as well as new food offerings and fire pit, an aviary, and a 4,200-square-foot gym equipped with Peloton bikes.

JLL, also a tenant at the building, has the listing.

For more on the complex, including some current tenants, additional changes, and an uptick in occupancy, see the Oct. 28 print edition of the Business Journal.
