Philharmonic Season Ends

The Philharmonic Society of Orange County said the rest of its 2019-20 season performances will be postponed and rescheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The Philharmonic Society is actively exploring the possibility of reengaging artists for future performances,” it said in a statement Wednesday.

Affected performances include among others the Orange County Youth Symphony 50th season finale and a recital by soprano Renée Fleming, both originally set for late May.

People who’d planned to attend shows will be able to donate, exchange or receive a refund on their tickets.
