Defense company Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa is in talks to raise as much as $2.5 billion, CNBC reported, quoting “sources close to the company.”
The funds would double Anduril’s valuation to $28 billion “pre-money,” according to CNBC. Anduril has reportedly signed a term sheet for the funding round.
It would be led by a $1 billion investment from Peter Thiel’s Founders Fund.
Anduril’s revenue doubled to about $1 billion last year, the business news TV channel reported.
The company was co-founded by OC entrepreneur Palmer Luckey.
