Defense company Anduril Industries Inc. said itโs been awarded $14.3 million by the Pentagon ย to expand the solid rocket motors industrial base.
โStrained munitions production underscored by recent global conflicts has led Congress and the Department of Defense to prioritize strengthening the SRM industrial base,โ the Costa Mesa-based company said in a statement today.
The company added: โThis U.S. government investment is compounded by ourย $75 million investmentย to produce large volumes of SRMs (solid rocket motors) at reduced costs.โ
