Architecture

Taylor Design, an architecture and interior design firm, promoted Tad Costerison and Jessica Schmitzberger, two leaders of its growing Science + Technology studio, to Associates.

Adding to his role as Senior Project Architect, Tad Costerison, AIA, LEED AP, NCARB, has been a key member of the Science + Technology studio since he joined the firm in 2019. He is a registered architect whose landmark projects include the Li Ka Shing Cancer Research Center in China, UCSF Science Instructional Research Towers in San Francisco and the Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito. He has designed over three million square feet of space throughout the world.

Jessica Schmitzberger, RA, NCARB, adds to her roles as Project Director and SoCal Regional Operations Manager. She assumes expanded leadership in the firm’s growing Science + Technology studio. In her yearlong tenure, Schmitzberger has collaborated with others internally and externally to further the success of the studio and the firm as a whole.

The Science + Technology studio’s project portfolio includes Rowland Hall Chemistry Teaching Lab for UC Irvine and the Kerckhoff Tejada Lab at California Institute of Technology.
