Preservation Equity Fund Advisors, LLC (PEF Advisors) is an affiliate of the WNC & Associates, Inc. (WNC) family of companies with a focus on acquiring and preserving existing affordable housing in high-cost markets through private equity funding. PEF Advisors is excited to announce two new hires to their team: Brian Newman and Samantha Rodriguez.
Brian Newman joins PEF Advisors as Construction Asset Manager. In his new role, Newman is responsible for all construction projects in the PEF Advisors’ portfolio, including capital needs budgeting, construction management, green initiatives, REAC inspections, and reporting. He brings prior Project Manager experience to his new role, having previously served as a Project Manager for a general contractor where he was responsible for ground up and tenant improvement projects in the multifamily, medical, and industrial sectors.
PEF Advisors is also pleased to welcome Samantha Rodriguez as Senior Financial Analyst. Rodriguez is responsible for assisting the acquisitions team with underwriting and vetting potential acquisitions. With a background as an analyst in lending and investments, she has experience financing and investing in affordable housing construction deals across the U.S.
