Senior Associate, Director of Design
AO, a leading full-service architecture firm with design expertise spanning the full commercial real estate spectrum, is pleased to announce the appointment of Joey Ali as Senior Associate and Director of Design for AO’s Multifamily Studio. He brings to AO more than 20 years of professional experience and a proven track record leading the design of large-scale projects including multifamily/residential housing, hospitality, and mixed-use developments. His role at the firm includes establishing the fundamental design principles guiding each project and collaborating closely with clients, team members, and all project stakeholders to ensure design intent is maintained from concept through completion.
Ali is an award-winning architect and designer whose work has been featured in many distinguished architectural journals and publications. He also has participated as a guest lecturer at universities around the globe as an architecture and computational design expert. Ali holds a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from American University, a Master’s of Architecture from Woodbury University in Los Angeles, and a Master’s of Urban Planning from the Fine Arts School in Paris. His global perspective and artistic, thoughtful approach to architecture will bolster AO’s capabilities to push the boundaries of innovative design worldwide.
