Helen Byrens is an associate in the Orange County office of Messner Reeves LLP, where her practice focuses on general liability, commercial litigation, and insurance defense.
An experienced litigator, she represents clients in complex disputes and provides strategic counsel through every stage of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, court appearances, and settlement negotiations. Before joining Messner Reeves, Byrens gained significant experience in trusts and estates litigation and public agency matters.
Byrens earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings), where she was a member of the Hastings Law Journal and Moot Court. She received her B.S. in Business Economics from the University of Arizona. Byrens is admitted to practice in California and has passed the New York Bar Exam.
When not practicing law, she enjoys tennis, golfing, and skiing.
