Darrin Godin, M.H.A. has been promoted to Vice President, Marketing and Communications for City of Hope Orange County. In this role, he leads marketing and communications for City of Hope’s $1 billion expansion in Orange County that includes a cancer campus of the future in Irvine and a network of advanced cancer care. Godin previously was chief of staff for City of Hope Orange County, where he was responsible for culture, innovation and staff development. Prior to joining City of Hope Orange County, Godin served as executive director of marketing and communication for Providence St. Joseph Health, one of the nation’s largest health care systems. He led the team responsible for system-wide internal strategic communication, connecting more than 120,000 employees across seven states.
Godin holds a master’s degree in health care administration from California State University, Long Beach, and a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership from Biola University. He sits on the Board of Directors for the Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce, has been a member of the board for the Newport Beach Chamber and was formerly a professor for Brandman University. A lifetime resident of Orange County, Godin enjoys spending time with his wife and two young sons.
