NONPROFIT

Casa Youth Shelter, a nonprofit providing emergency housing, counseling, and support services to adolescents in crisis, has announced the appointment of Jessica Hubbard as its new chief executive officer. A visionary leader with a diverse background spanning law, education, and social impact, she brings nearly two decades of experience to the organization.
Hubbard is known for scaling and expanding programs that assist and empower youth and
young adults. She most recently served as chief program officer at Girls Inc. of Orange County, which was preceded by an established career in educational administration and eight years of classroom teaching.
She will build upon this experience in her role at Casa Youth Shelter, where she is focused on growing its vision to serve more individuals with critical counseling services. In addition to providing life-saving temporary shelter, the nonprofit offers non-residential services including individual, group, family, and aftercare counseling; parenting classes for crisis prevention and intervention; teen drop-in groups; robust case management; life skill coaching; expressive therapies; and career development.
Hubbard has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida, a master’s from Nova Southeastern University in education administration, and a juris doctor degree from Western State College of Law.
