Beyond Blindness is pleased to announce that its President and CEO, Angie Rowe, has been appointed to the board of commissioners for First 5 Orange County. Rowe will serve a two-year term as Education Commissioner for this dynamic, mission-driven public agency that invests in programs and projects to improve the system of care for young children and families, with the vision that all children reach their full potential.
Dr. Natalie Breau Appointed to Lead Beyond Blindness Low Vision Clinic
Beyond Blindness recently welcomed Dr. Natalie Breau as head of its Low Vision Optometry Clinic at the Karl F. Kramer Center for Optometry & Wellness. Breau is an assistant professor of pediatrics and vision therapy at the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University. The Low Vision Optometry Clinic at Beyond Blindness is powered by a partnership with Marshall B. Ketchum University and underwriting by the Ueberroth Family Foundation. The Clinic is a critical component of the Beyond Blindness Journey of Care™ that focuses on early intervention to help children with visual impairments and other disabilities live their fullest lives.
